About The Reservist

The Reservist is a personal project born out of years of experience working at the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, and national defense. As a Reservist, I have had the privilege of serving my country while simultaneously building a career in one of the most dynamic and impactful fields in technology.

This platform exists because I believe that Servicemembers (Reservists, Active Duty, and Veterans) are at a critical juncture; adopt AI or risk falling behind in an increasingly technical landscape. This platform is a step towards helping my fellow Servicemembers understand, adopt, and ultimately lead in the data and AI revolution that is reshaping our world and our military.

The Mission

The Reservist has a straightforward mission: to bridge the gap between military service and the data and AI industry by providing knowledge, resources, and community.

Too often, Servicemembers fear transitioning into tech because they feel like they are starting from scratch. They are not. The skills honed in uniform translate powerfully into data and AI roles. They just need the right context and starting point to make the connection. The need for technical skills in the DoW has never been greater.
